Employee Parking Access and Authorization

Access Requirements

Employee parking lots require a DTW ID Badge or other Airport-issued access media for entry. Only Authorized Signers may request parking privileges for employees.

Application Process

  • Initial parking requests can be submitted through the Badge Application
  • Changes to existing parking arrangements require a separate Employee Parking Change Request form
  • All parking requests are reviewed individually and may be denied by the company or Credentials Office
  • The company incurs a fee for each approved employee parking privilege

Access Issues If your ID Badge doesn’t grant access to employee lots:

  • Do NOT piggyback behind other vehicles or individuals
  • Call the assistance number printed on the back of your badge
  • Do NOT enter the lot on foot without prior authorization from Airport Security
