At Detroit Metro Airport we strive to make our services accessible for all our passengers and visitors.

If you need to request wheelchair assistance inform your airline when booking your flight or contact your airline 48 hours before your flight.  When you arrive at the airport contact wheelchair services – see the Wheelchair Assistance page for additional details.

The Transportation Security Administration provides information for passengers with disabilities and medical conditions.  The TSA has a helpline TSA Cares, that can be reached by phone (855) 787-2227 or email TSA-Contact Center@tsa.dhs.gov

Braille signage is available on ground-level signs throughout the McNamara Terminal and Evans Terminal. Wayfinding signage and visual paging are available throughout the terminals. Hearing loops are located at certain gates in the McNamara Terminal.
