Competition Plan

Pursuant to federal regulations, Wayne County Airport Authority provided a Competition Plan for Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) to the U.S. Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration in 2000 and continues to file updates to that plan as necessary.

Free Speech Activities

An individual or organization desiring to use the airport for the purpose of exercising constitutional rights of free speech and freedom of religion shall be free to engage in such activities provided that they are in compliance with the provisions of the Wayne County Airport Authority Airport Ordinance, specifically sections 6,14 and 15.

Permit Applications for Free Speech Activities

All Permit Applications for Free Speech activities must be submitted to the Airport Authority as follows: US Mail, email, fax or hand-delivery. Permits must be approved by the Airport Authority prior to any Free Speech activities being conducted on airport property.

Fraud, Ethics, and Compliance Hotline

A Fraud, Ethics, & Compliance Hotline enhances awareness regarding the prevention and detection of fraud, waste or other abusive or unethical activities. With the establishment of the Fraud, Ethics, & Compliance Hotline, the Wayne County Airport Authority (Authority), which is responsible for the operations of Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport and Willow Run Airport, is taking a proactive stance against suspected fraud, waste, abuse, unsafe, illegal and/or unethical activity. The hotline is a means for employees, contractors, vendors and the general public to report any of the above activity in connection with the Authority operations.

The Fraud, Ethics, & Compliance Hotline is a comprehensive and confidential reporting tool to assist management and employees to work together to address fraud, abuse, and other misconduct in the workplace, all while cultivating a positive work environment. If you suspect fraud, waste or abuse of Authority resources, or if you suspect unsafe, illegal or unethical activity concerning the Authority, we want to hear from you.

The Fraud, Ethics, & Compliance Hotline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and is managed by an independent 3rd party service provider, NAVEX Global (EthicsPoint).
