About Detroit Metro Airport

Experience the Region

Willow Run Airport’s greatest asset is its location. Situated on 2,600 acres along the Detroit–Ann Arbor high-tech and manufacturing corridor, the airport spans both Wayne and Washtenaw Counties, with strong ties to each. It’s supported by a robust network of highways, including I-94, I-96, US-23, I-275, and I-75.

Airport tenants are based on the East, West, and North sides of the property. The best route depends on your starting point and destination—see the map for details.
