B-24 \u201cLiberator\u201d bombers. In October 1958, American and Allegheny\r\nAirlines move their scheduled passenger operations from Willow Run to the newly\r\ncompleted terminal facilities at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW).
